Motorcyclist Rushed To Westchester Medical Center After Crash Near Market

A motorcyclist was hospitalized after crashing near a grocery store in the area on Sunday morning, April 7.

The crash occurred in the area in front of Red Mills Market on Route 6N in Mahopac Falls.

Mahopac Falls Fire, EMS and Fire Police, along with multiple units from Carmel Police and Paramedics from EMStar, arrived within minutes of the dispatch, authorities said.

Upon arrival, MFVFD EMS found one person down on the side of the road and started triage and treatment, said Jack Casey of the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department. 

Route 6N was closed between Hill Street and Luccaro Lane during the response to the crash and subsequent investigation.

The injured person rushed to Westchester Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
